The HomeGrid Forum will be holding a closed certification test event at Shanghai Research Institute of China Telecom Corporation Limited, Shanghai, China, from November 7th through 18th. Since this is over a very limited time period, only the first seven (7) product vendors to apply will be eligible to fully certify one (1) device each for free.

In order to participate in this free certification test event:

  • The participant shall be an HGF member of good standing
  • The product shall have implemented all of the G.hn requirements for any one or more of the supported mediums
  • The product shall support LCMP
  • To eliminate chipset issues during the event, the product shall use chipsets that have previously been tested and certified by HGF test house either independently or in another product
  • Allow HGF to publicly announce as well as photograph the device for inclusion on the HGF website.

Once the 7 products have been registered, the participating member companies will receive the rules of engagement documents and a registration form to complete for the device.
